Ecumenical Creeds

The Reformed Churches of New Zealand, in common with all Christian churches throughout the ages, hold to the three foundational creeds of the early Christian Church:

  1. The Apostles’ Creed
  2. The Nicene Creed
  3. The Athanasian Creed

Reformed Confessions

In addition, the Reformed Churches of New Zealand hold to the four cornerstone confessions of the Protestant Reformation:

  1. The Belgic Confession
  2. The Heidelberg Catechism
  3. The Canons of Dort
  4. The Westminster Confession
